Historic breakthrough at the 2026 Mudan Cup!

The 3rd Mudan (Peony) Cup has successfully come to an end, and the two teams representing our Lynx Club achieved a historic breakthrough.

Both Agile Lynx and Fearless Lynx finished first in their respective groups during the round-robin stage, successfully advancing to the Top 8 and qualifying for the Division A knockout stage.

In the quarterfinals, Agile Lynx faced GenEagle Team 1, the eventual runner-up led by Lu Zijian, champion of the Alumni Cup. Facing such a strong opponent, the Lynx players showed no fear and fought with determination until the very end. Although they ultimately fell 0-2, it was a hard-fought and honorable performance.

Fearless Lynx, however, truly exceeded everyone's expectations and became the biggest surprise of the tournament. They defeated the No. 3 seeded KSPB team during the group stage, then delivered an impressive 2-0 victory over GenEagle Team 2 in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals.

Although they were eventually defeated by GenEagle Team 1 in the semifinals, the Mudan (Peony) Cup uses a joint third-place format, meaning Fearless Lynx officially secured a third-place finish, achieving the best result in Lynx history at the Mudan (Peony) Cup — a truly exciting and memorable accomplishment!

Finally, a huge thank you goes to all of our players for their dedication and hard work. Everyone arrived in Markham as early as 7:30 AM and battled through an entire day of competition, fighting tirelessly to earn this historic achievement for Lynx.

第3届牡丹杯圆满落幕，我们山猫俱乐部派出的两支队伍也取得了历史性的突破

Agile Lynx 和 Fearless Lynx 在小组赛中双双以小组第一的成绩出线，成功闯入8强，晋级甲组淘汰赛。在8强赛中，Agile Lynx 遇上了后来获得亚军的锦鹰1队，由高校杯冠军 Lu Zijian 带队。面对强敌，Lynx 队员们毫不畏惧、奋勇拼搏，最终以0:2惜败，虽败犹荣。

而 Fearless Lynx 更是让大家眼前一亮、跌破眼镜！他们在小组赛中力克3号种子王府队，随后又在8强赛中以2:0强势战胜锦鹰2队，成功闯入4强。虽然最终在半决赛中不敌锦鹰1队，但由于牡丹杯采用并列季军赛制，Fearless Lynx 最终获得季军，创造了山猫队参加牡丹杯以来的最佳战绩，实在可喜可贺！

最后，更要感谢所有参赛球员的辛勤付出。大家早上7点半便赶到万锦，奋战一整天，为山猫队拼下了历史性的成绩。希望未来我们继续努力，创造属于山猫更多、更高的荣耀！
